Since the program began, we have raised over $15,000, the majority of which goes directly back to the town in the form of fuel assistance for our neighbors in need,The same Air purifier, cover removed.Choose from one of the major categories of Bedding, and various town projects and scholarship funds.
The most recent funding is going to the Beachwood Park revitalization project. In order to keep the bottle collection site an ongoing and viable entity, we need your help. The dumpster at the police station is for Maine refundable (5 cent or 15 cent) beverage cans and bottles only. If a can or bottle does not have a reuy sculpture direct from us at low pricesfundable sticker or label, it should not be left at the dumpster. Beverage containers purchased in state of New Hampshire are not refundable. We certainly want to encourage recycling, and all non-refundable beverage containers, along with most glass, plastics, papers, and cardboard can be brought to the Sea Road Recycling Center, or be put with your curbside recycling pickup. Your help and generous support to keep this redemption program running smoothly is greatly appreciated.
