Swiping your credit card and carrying a wad of cash could be a thing of the past. The new trend? Using your smart phone to do your shopping. It really started to pick up steam late last year on the west coast and it's now here in Arkansas.
Consumers seem excited about the idea of using their smart phones instead of cash or credit.
"As long as it's safe and convenient. Well it's obviously convenient. So I would absolutely use it," says Becca Green, a smart phone user.
"What would be really great about it because I'm so busy and I'm going all the time, is that I can just go in and out. And would be so easy and effective," adds Heather Baker, another smart phone user.the worldwide Wholesale pet supplies market is over $56 billion annually.
But security is a concern for most.
"There [are] safety precautions. As if someone were to leave the phone. You're not also getting charged or some kind of background check there," says Anthony Trentham.
"If you leave your phone somewhere, which happens all the time. You wouldn't want somebody to just pick it up and use it. So as long as it's just like your wallet,Costa Rica will host surfers from all over the globe at the Quicksilver Open. if they can only use so far until you call the main number to get them to cancel it, I think it would be fine," Green adds.

When asked about security, Wayland doesn't think it will be an issue.
"Most of these are going to have pin numbers to get into it. It's not going to be easy for someone to just to hack in from the phone," Wayland adds.I have never solved a Rubik's magic cube .
But Wayland does have some advice for consumers.
"It's always a consumer beware. Always consumers need to think about their own purchasing and does this fit in their lifestyle and does it fit in their wallet," says Wayland.
When you "swipe" your phone, payment information is encrypted and stored on a chip inside. The credit card information inside can be deactivated just like a regular debit or credit card.
You can already use Pay Pal and Google Wallet apps on your smart phone in stores.
